SolarSystem® 1100

Absolutely amazing light I'm getting some of the bushiest plants I've grown very similar to a thousand watt HPS but even better in my opinion I'm currently not using the controller with it but even without it I'm producing amazing results. Customer service is also amazing I've called a few times and emailed back and forth a few times and everybody is super helpful and courteous. My only issue and the only reason why I gave four stars. per performance five stars all day, but price to performance not so much, yes they're great lights but in the present market, we have amazingly efficient grow lights just as good as these for considerably less sometimes up to 50% less. California light works are currently up to date on technology and performance with their lights I'd like to see them also get up to date with pricing as well.

I've been using the SolarSystem 1100 Commercial Series for the past 4 years with the controller. I recently lost the red and white spectrum during a flower period. I really did not expect much when I reach out to California Lightsworks seeing it had been 4 years since I purchased the light. At best I was hoping to get it repaired at my expense. Well, long story short not only did they repair it they sent me a brand new 1100. Holy crap was I surprised when it arrived 3 days after they received it. I just paid for the shipping. No big deal when we are talking about an $1,200.00. light. Big shout out to Christie Slagle. Thank you for all your help. Your customer service is unsurpassed and the quality of you products are far superior than all others. Not to mention they are made in the USA. You Guys Rock...

I have only had this light for a week. It’s my first LED light. If it does great through the first season I will definitely buy more. My foot gets no wormer than about 88 and that’s when it’s 100 outside. I really love the controller. California Light Works has thought of everything!! I will never buy a light from anyone else. (As long as this one does as good as I think it’s going to.

Great light. Had two different lights and the grows weren't even comparable. The difference was so great that I bought a second light. Would recommend this light to everyone that wants bigger , denser grows . With the programmable controller for the lights you can have total control of your grow.
To me personally this model 1100 is the best . Use it in 5x5 tent and can't stop plants from reaching lights height of 7feet . It truly is a difference maker .

I have used HPS/MH lights of all sizes and shapes back to the old school 4' round dome (a few years back). I have also used T5 fluorescent and cheap LED lights from China. I purchased one of the Solar Extreme 500's a couple years ago and was still using a 1000 watt Sunleaves Predator hood with a digital Lumatek ballast. The few plants that were underneath the 500 would yield way more flower and better flower. I recently upgraded to a Solar System 1100 and within a couple of weeks, I purchased another 1100. I am beyond pleased with the results I've seen so far. I am in the middle of my flowering stage and have seen an incredible difference in thickness and growth. I can't wait to start a new batch from the beginning and let the controller do all the thinking for me. I am using a Super Soil mix (RIP Subcool) in 5 gallon cloth/mesh pots. 8x8 area surrounded with the wrinkled Mylar. 8" inch exhaust fan into the attic and also draws in fresh air. I have a ventless natural gas heater I use in the winter time to bring my CO2 level up.......The true test will be my new electric bill. It may be high because I've already had my A/C on several days and then the heater and then the A/C etc.........Great Product!!!

Great lights been growing for years never been better then when I changed out 12 of the 550 for the 4 1100 I got love them great grows with 1100 .

I usually research meticulously prior to making a significant purchase and my research led me to the Solar System 1100. These lights exceeded my every expectation and combined with the UVB, my yield and quality continues to impress.

We have been running there lights for 4 years now and couldn’t be happier with the results. Having control of the spectrum is so critical to producing a premium product.

Best light I ever used plants look happier and healthier wish it came with programer programer was hard to figure out at first but not bad now highly recommend this light to any grower
