I love this light. Here’s why. Small but very powerful and plants love it. Fully adjustable spectrum with controller. Dimming. No other small light can do these things. Nuf said? Try one.
I have hung and put 3 of the 6 on High Blue, Medium White and Red on the one side and the Moringa and Theobromo Cocoas are getting bigger leaves and bushier. The Moringa was always leggy before.
On the other side I have 3 lights on High Red, Medium White and low Blue to get my Citrus and Dragon fruit to flower and fruit.
My Arboretum is 36 ft Long, 18 ft Wide 12 ft high in the center. Since I am in the San Antonio, TX Area. The Sun gets Very Hot so I have a White Opaque Polycarb Roof. It has been blocking the Blues and Red light and my Trees were getting Leggy and NOT Fruiting.
I also have some beautiful Double Mahoi Banana Plants that have been giving me great fruit.
Soon it will be getting cold at night and I will have to bring in my Papyas and Haas Avocados trees.
I bought 2 controllers on each side so I can divide how I use the lights between the trees on each side.
So far I am very pleased with the results I am getting with these Solar System 550 Grow Lights!
I didn’t have a change to use the UVB bulb before chopping my plants.
I’ll give another try on next grow!

I put the light on my early plants that were about 12" tall. The light is very bright, and my plants shot right up. My problem is that they started to bud too early for me. In the past I had plants 4-5' tall. these are only 2'. I have the light programmed for 20 hours on, 4 off. Any suggestions?
We had bought 1 just like this one and wow it made our grow space fantastic we love the light system and so does our little garden thanks for working with us on this

ordered 8 replacement uvb bulbs for my solar system uvb lights. Only 6 of the 8 lights worked. I emailed the email address I received with the order in case there was a problem. I received no reply after I’m out of $124 dollars and no recourse of action. I have been buying there uvb lights and bulbs for the last 5 years. This is the first problem I’ve had and the company doesn’t respond or offer a solution. WOW! So all I can do is spread the word about your customer service and take my business elsewhere.
With the sale and a bonus for being fully retired, I decided to treat myself. My neighbor has 3 of your solarstorm lights. I almost bought one but why not get the newest light from you wonderful people.You tube was helpful but trying it out while watching even better. With the whole veg cycle programmed, it's even easier. It also allows you to adjust the spectrum. Love the sunset/sunrise feature. Built in clock with everything in one wall mounted controller. Doing 17 red/49 white for vege. Love this new set-up! Thank you.

I decided it was time to retire my 3 Solarextreme lights. Replaced them with your new Spectramax. I had one very important seedling that is 14% CBD and works great for my seizures.. Planning to cross it with a 25% CBD strain I received as a gift from Hyp3Rids seeds. Through cross pollination, I should have a 19% CBD level in these new seeds. Very helpful. Going back, this very important seedling that wasn't looking like it would make it,perked right up and is now looking as healthy as the rest.I was very surprised as well as impressed.Even though the diodes are only red and white, I figure it is a full spectrum white. Very nice to take pics without the bars moving from my other lights. It is barely warm to the touch.So glad I bought the control. Easy to figure out. You tube is helping too. This is my second one of these controllers. The first is four years old and still works perfectly. They are uncomplicated and easy to use.
Our customers love this product as they use them in their Sturdi-Built Greenhouses - used to extend the growing season and increase yields.

This light is the way to go!! It has made a huge difference in bud formation (better light coverage) as well as during veg, leveling the canopy overall.. My girls absolutely love it!! It is a bit costly.. But, the response is just WOW!!
Energy costs, heat,etc.. Not to mention the excellent support from California light works. Overall, has been a game changer for me..
Big difference!! This has made life much easier. Touch screen controller for smooth transitions, automatic sunrise/sunset ... Spectrum control.. No more timers, ballast, etc.. I use it with a SpectraMax 1000. Setting it up was very easy, no problem, a few minutes to fiure it out .. Game changer for me..
Set up a 275 with controller in a 3x3 tent with developed seedlings. Have program set up using recommendations from CLW manual since I'm new to this technology. Controller very easy to set up. Let's see what happens!
First off quality is amazing, this is not your cheap internet tent. This will take you a while to set up but very easy just take your time. The attention to detail for indoor growing is the best I've seen or used. You guys nailed it best 4x4 tent on the market. Paired with solar system 550 and controller.
